Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will actively reach out to customer leads, build relationships, and provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer (new and existing) by evaluating their needs and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals.


  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs – follow-up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  • Understand and describe the product and service to the customer – emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in CRM/ERP (customer relationship management/enterprise resource program) software
  • Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales – create Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices and Support Cases
  • Follow-up with vendors to manage and coordinate the fulfillment of Sales Orders


  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in customer interactions
  • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
  • Communication skills, especially to clearly convey the benefits of a product or service to potential customers
  • Strong written and computer communication skills
  • A positive attitude and ability to be persistent to close the sale
